Children’s Ministry
“Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children.” – Jesus (Matthew 19:14)
All children are a blessings to Fulford United Methodist Church! Nurturing and growing God’s children through creative, engaging learning and support is our priority. The Children’s Ministry Team is dedicated to providing opportunities for our children to experience God’s love.
At Fulford, we seek to create a loving and safe environment where children can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. There are so many opportunities to serve within this exciting ministry.
If you would like to volunteer with us, please fill out the volunteer form under Serve.
Youth Night
The Fulford United Methodist Youth group provides a place where middle school and high school teens can come and be themselves. We provide food, games, team building activities, field trips, sports and much more. Our goal is to create well-rounded individuals who love God and look to encourage and help others.
The Youth Ministry concentrates on fulfilling these needs by:
- developing and deepening faith through Bible Study, community service, and fellowship
- setting examples in leadership, service and actions for people of all ages to follow
- encouraging others to realize a stronger love for each other and God
- bringing new friends into the group so they can experience both the love of Christ and fun activities.
All youth in grades 6 through 12 are welcome to join the group. Youth group meets every Friday night from 6:35-8:15 P.M. Come be a part of the fun.
If you have any questions about the meetings or activities, feel free to contact:

Food Pantry
I was hungry, and you gave me food. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was alone and away from home, and you invited me into your house. – Matthew 24:35
The Food Pantry at Fulford United Methodist Church is committed to offering gifts of nutritious food to our neighbors in a hospitable, loving and dignified manner. There, families in need can receive pre-sacked, non-perishable food. The non-perishable food items are supplemented by bread, produce, meat and other items.
Monetary Donations: Help us provide fresh produce at our food pantry. You can make a donation here.
Volunteering to Sack, Distribute, or Greet: Our volunteers work to sack and distribute groceries.
Hospitality Help: We are committed to treating guests of our food pantry with all the kindness and hospitality we would offer to a guest in our own homes. We offer guests a hearty welcome while they wait.

Ray of Hope
No special talents are need to share kindness and prayer with someone in need. Ray of Hope is a vitiation ministry for those who are sick and unable to attend weekly services. We make visits to the homebound, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. Jesus instructs us to visit and pray for those who are sick.
We also share the love and compassion of Christ by making phone calls, sending greeting cards, praying, and offering communion to ensure that members continue to feel part of Fulford UMC.
